Super Nova was originally an odd lot that Lauscha decided to keep in production. It is their standard gorgeous dark blue violet transparent with silver added to it. This makes it a very reactive glass for other colors. One of my favorites is to use supernova, either fume it with silver, or use a lawyer of silver foil, then use rubino on top of that. Or use some silver foil to get a galaxy effect. There are many other combinations and maybe you can discover something new!! These rods are 8 to 10 mm. Minimum one lb due to size of the rods. Great for Large Beads and Marbles.
